Aly Just Signed For Pilot

Talk about future acting work here.

wasn't the show wonder years narrated about an old man telling us about his past life?

it was a pretty good show with a cute little girl in it...and the actor's were good.

this sounds similar to it.

The Wonder years narrator was a guy in his 30's looking back on his boyhood, but the premise is not dissimilar. I wonder if it will be taped on Hi-Definition video, as is Enterprise--it looks very much like film.

Hey, what if Aly shows up in the old man's time? Can we see Aly made up as an old lady. (Please--not Mama's Family). Will she pilot her own anti-gravity hopper as she makes her way through a future world where the ice caps have melted? Gilbert, rein in....okay, I'm back...

It's not important if the idea is original, what is important is how well it's done.

It was probably written before Aly was signed...she had just returned from the signing when I spoke with her and I posted the news here about half an hour later.

You must let her know what a hero she's made of you to us for letting us know before the media. Not that you weren't a hero before for helping to bring her into the world.

It probably shows just how excited Aly is about this. :D

My thanks also, A1f for the great scoop, it's wonderful news. :D :D

Fingers crossed for third time lucky.

BTW, when A1f first started posting I did wonder if it was really Aly in disguise. But since the posts started to appear while she was on honeymoon, it was just too weird an idea to contemplate!

In one way, you might say Aly does post on occasion...I think it might be called "posting by Proxy". Knowing that I am posting here when she wants something communicated she merely informs me, I ask her if it is OK to make that public and she says either " not just yet" or "yeh, definitely".

So then it is I who type the message, but she who dictates the words. :?

A1F I'm very glad you were one of the first to know from Aly and in turn let us here at AHAS know... (you are very welcome)

Let's hope this project gets the green light so we can enjoy Aly's acting regularly... :P

Yes an exciting thought indeed, regular Aly appearances...plus taping live means some here might get to see her and report some insider stuff.

And of course, everyone here surely has a TV hookup....I mean this is the 21st century, what kind of backwoods hermit wouldn't have a TV hookup?

Ah but of course we know you jest Nyarl...always with the joke...hee hee hee....

 You wound me, sir!

I, for the betterment of mankind (or is that humankind, and what about animalkind which includes humankind and plants, what about...), have decided to unhook my hookup and take up the archaic practice of "reading" and "writing"... That is not to say DVDs don't show up at my place for occasional commercial free viewing pleasure... :P

Now, if Aly scoops a regular TV spot, I will need to befriend somebody who can tape me the episodes and then "lend" them to me... Of course, with backwoods hermit statis, finding such a friend is nigh impossible what with having to trek through the brambles wearing bear skins to reach civilization where other humans live and having to shave and wash so as not to scare them all away... so as a last resort I may need to get TV hookup. :x (makes the sign of the forked claw to ward away commercials and reality TV shows)

And you are still welcome, A1F. My pleasure, really... 8)

Well Nyarl, I was thinking of inviting you to visit my house and watch How I Met Your Mother on my big screen TV, but if you don't usually shave and bathe, perhaps I will rethink that. Also, my dogs might not take well to someone wearing bear skins. :P

I can see it now. Nyral, in his bearskins (or is it bare skin), miles from the nearest shower, sitting on a rock, lit by firelight, typing on his computer.
