Despite many reports that it is NOT HAPPENNING, there are just as many reporting that the 3 main stars of Harry Potter will be at Comicon this year....

As if Saturday isn't chaos enough ...

Everything I read says the opposite so it's probably true. Certainly wouldn't be the first or hundredth time studios put out misinformation about what's going on.

If there were VIP tickets I'd go but not sure I want to go through the chaos such an event would cause in my old age. LOTS of good stuff going on in Room 20 at the same time. Especially for a MAYBE.

Here in SD without a wingman. OMG stars out the Wazoo. Who to see, who to see. Going for the easy routeon this old body, Hall H on Thurs. For the movies and Room 20 the rest of the days for TV. Auto's on a much lower priority, just feel like jumping through all the hoops to get them.

Michelle was at a collectable con. She's been to all of them and it's a very bit deal to her.

Met Brian and he gave me some auto's he got me from Oz, which I STILL owe him for. Kept offering, he kept putting it off.

The SlayerCruise was so much fun and I'd enjoy meeting Julie Benz (even though she was mean to Aly in '97), but I still don't know if we'll be able to make it. If we were to go again, I'd want to be guaranteed a spot at Clare's table as I'm sure other members of AHAS would. Also, does anyone know if Gavin, River, or Brian will be coming will be on the cruise. For any AHAS members who haven't met them, Betty and Smiley are also great fun to travel with; just thinking about the '07 SlayerCruise makes me want to go on this one.

I would imagine the whole Kramer will be there. And yes she remembers the quiz master. AND she WANTS to see you in Chicago.

As for Benz that little spat was THIRTEEN years ago. I highly doubt Aly's still upset or even thinks about it. Besides Julie is funny and HOT.

*Dinner with Smiley .. Im sure we both got back to our hotel(s) later than we thought we would, such was our late-night chatter .. ...

*Getting up at 4.30am every morning!! .. Its what you do if you want to be in line at 7.05am for the drawing of autograph tickets for the likes of Paul Bettany ... which AGAIN I did not get ...

***Managing to meet and get auto's from the likes of Nic Cage (Yes!!! ) , Ali Larter, Matt Reeves ( Cloverfield Director), Micheal Chilikas ( big guy from tv series "The Shield" ),Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Paul Anderson (Director Residental Evil movies), Jane Epsonan (writer Buffy/Angel/Veronica Mars/Caprica), Alessandra Torresani (Caprica)...

***Getting Kick-Ass star Chloe Moretz to sign her full-size character Hit-Girl poster ..(Chloe:-" Its one of my first!!" ) .. When later I had it out flat to let the ink dry, it got quite a few second-looks and comments ... Chloe said she had signed lots of Kick-Ass posters and small photos, but this being her own character poster, she signed it big with kisses and hugs .. it looks great!!!

***Amazing how busy 130,000 attendees get!! .. I got to get photos/autographs from Jane Epsonan ( "My Sci-Fi shows always seems to do well in Australia.." ) and Alessandra ( "I love your Aussie movie The Castle!! " ) all too easily, with everyone preoccupied with everything else, even in the Exhibition Hall

***Meeting Milla Jovonich signing Resident Evil photos ... One of my very rare Ive-always-wanted-to-meet actresses ...and she is a class act .. shook hands and chatted to every single fan who were lucky enough to win a autograph ticket( ) . and ... personalised every photo (the photo itself is a great action shot of Milla from the movie..)

*** My Personal favourite - Getting EXTREMELY LUCKY in winning a ticket, meaning I was able to get an autograph/photo from someone I've been a long time fan of (and I wasn't alone, thats for sure!! ) ... Kenneth Branagh signing for the up-coming "Thor" which he is directing - Absolutely lovely guy, happily signed lots of "extras" for fans, and thanks to my San Diego girl/friend who called out to Mr Branagh to get both of us looking at the camera ...

Hasd a great time .. but the crowds and early morning starts are really getting on my nerves ..Next year its Panels only!! ( I hope ) ..

Sounds like fun Smiley. I hope we are able to go but will just have to see what life brings us when it's time to register. I absolutely had a fantastic time and Ann did too so it really just depends on all those outside influences that control our lives. Thanks for the compliment, I truly enjoyed the great company of the two of you as well. Very flattering that Clare remembered us although, given that I spent many hours watching her play Blackjack it's not ALL that surprising! And here I am not even a gambling games player....but it was fun watching and talking with her. She's such a lovely person.

Have to admit though, I'd give up a whole cruise and all those Blackjack games with Clare just to have a half hour of dedicated time to say..play at the park with Aly and Saty. I'd still love to have a chance to teach Aly to run my dog in agility...I bet she'd be a super agility dog handler. Ah, where would we be without our fantasies?

I keep hoping that the possibility of swimming with dolphins will attract her to go. On the first cruise there was an excursion to a place where you could swim with them. My mother went on it and had a great time in the water with them. I would think this cruise would offer it also. When I spoke to Claire in Chicago I requested she ask Aly to go on this cruise. She said she'd look into it. So here's hoping.
